Kanbey Ink BV is the data controller for the personal data collected through this website.

We only collect data that you actively enter in our forms:

• Name (required)
• Email address (required)
• Phone number (optional)
• Description of your tattoo idea or question (required when using the idea form)
• Reference image (optional, max 5MB — PNG or JPG only)

In addition, our advertising tool (Meta Pixel) may collect technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and page visits. This only happens after your explicit consent via the cookie banner.

We only use your data to:

• Respond to your idea form with style and placement advice
• Confirm and manage a booked consultation
• Send relevant follow-up messages related to your request (no newsletter, no commercial mailings)
• Statistical analysis of website performance (only with your consent via cookie settings)

The processing of your data is based on one of the following legal grounds:

• Performance of a contract — when you book an appointment or submit a request
• Consent — for placing analytical cookies (Meta Pixel). Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
• Legitimate interest — for keeping basic website statistics for business operations

We engage the following sub-processors that may process your data as part of our services:

• GoHighLevel (GHL) — CRM and appointment management. Data is stored on servers of GoHighLevel Inc. (US). A data processing agreement is in place.
• Google (Google Sheets + Google Calendar) — backup and scheduling. Google LLC, US. Data processing agreement in place via Google Workspace.
• Meta Platforms Inc. — advertising tracking via Meta Pixel (only with consent). Data is processed in line with the Meta privacy policy.
• Vercel Inc. — hosting provider for this website. Vercel only processes technical traffic data (server logs) and retains it for a maximum of 30 days.

We do not sell your data to third parties and do not share it for the commercial purposes of third parties.

We do not keep your personal data longer than necessary:

• Data from non-converted requests (no appointment booked): a maximum of 3 years after the last contact
• Customer data from active or completed work: a maximum of 7 years, in line with Dutch tax retention obligations
• Cookie consent log: a maximum of 1 year

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / AVG), you have the following rights:
